Couples Counselling

Relationships can be incredibly meaningful. They can bring joy, purpose, comfort, and a sense of being known. And intertwining your life with another person can also bring very real difficulties. Even strong relationships can move through seasons of disconnection, conflict, uncertainty, or hurt.

In my practice, “couples counselling” simply refers to counselling with two people who are in a relationship, however that relationship may look. I create an inclusive and welcoming space for you to understand what is happening between you and work toward the changes you’d like to see.

Themes I often support in couples counselling include:

  • Communication patterns and conflict

  • Rebuilding trust after rupture or betrayal

  • Emotional and physical intimacy

  • Differing needs, expectations, or values

  • Feeling disconnected or out of sync

  • Navigating parenting, family roles, or life transitions

  • Recurring arguments that feel difficult to move past

I help partners slow things down, better understand what is happening between them, and work toward new ways of communicating and connecting.

I provide couples counselling in person in Victoria, BC and virtually across British Columbia.

Looking for a different kind of support? I also offer counselling for individuals and parents.
